A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Feng Tao at the Texas A&M University School of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, USA. The research projects focus on investigating neural circuit mechanisms of chronic pain and developing novel pain management approaches. The position is supported by a National Institutes of Health R01 grant and additional funding.
Experience in neuroscience research is a prerequisite. Preferred qualifications include a strong background and skills in neural circuit analysis. Experience utilizing optogenetic manipulation is desirable.
The laboratory is located at the Dallas campus of Texas A&M University.
