Abstract

Generalized prurigo nodularis (GPN) is a debilitating, inflammatory skin disease characterized by chronic pruritus, signs of prolonged scratching, and multiple pruriginous papules and nodules. Recent studies identified several forms of GPN as a clinical phenotype of adult atopic dermatitis (AD).
