Utility of the 50% stenosis criterion in patients undergoing stenting for chronic iliofemoral venous obstruction.
Abstract
Criterion for venous stenting in symptomatic chronic iliofemoral venous obstruction (CIVO) has been the arbitrary use of 50% or more stenosis. This study evaluates IVUS determined degree of stenosis in patients undergoing stenting for quality-of-life impairing symptoms and assesses the utility of the 50% stenosis cut off.
