The Association of Southeast Asian Pain Societies (ASEAPS) was founded in 2005 to help promote the study and management of Pain in the ASEAN region. ASEAPS represents six (6) chapters in the ASEAN region.

Aims
Working together to promote the study and management of Pain in the ASEAN region.
Goals
- To promote research in all areas related to Pain and its management
- To disseminate and promote professional and public education in the field of Pain management
- To enhance networking, communication and the dissemination of information at both personal and organizational levels
- To facilitate the development of pain management and related services
- To encourage the formation and development of Pain societies in Southeast Asia
- To formulate policies and standards with respect to pain management practice in the region
- To encourage cooperation and collaborate with other professional and public organizations
