The Campbell Research Lab in the Department of Anesthesiology at UW-Madison is seeking a post-doctoral scholar interested in the molecular mechanisms that drive chronic pain. 

 

Requirements: A PhD at the time of appointment in Neuroscience, Pharmacology, Molecular and Cell Biology or a closely related field. Skills: A high degree of motivation, detail oriented, organized, excellent communication written and verbal, time management skills, willingness to help train graduate students, ability to receive and provide feedback, collegiality, willingness to learn new skills, and strong ability to troubleshoot a broad array of problems.

 

Preferred qualifications: Experience in one or more of the following areas – mouse behavior, mammalian cell culture, IHC tissue imaging, neuronal physiology, functional genomics assays. Ideally, a strong track record of publications.
