A postdoctoral position is available to investigate neural circuit mechanisms for chronic pain and pain modulation. This position is supported by an NIH RO1 grant. Experience in neuroscience research is a prerequisite. Strong background and skills in slice recording combined with optogenetic manipulation are desirable. Hands-on experience in pain research and neural circuit analysis is a plus.
