Osteoarthritis (OA), a highly prevalent degenerative joint disease, is of increasing concern due to its debilitating nature and negative impact on quality of life. Recent investigations have explored the therapeutic potential of probiotics to alleviate OA. This review summarizes the emerging evidence for the potential role of probiotics in managing OA symptoms and disease progression. The link between gut dysbiosis and chronic inflammation, a key player in OA progression is discussed in this review.
