Seronegative elderly-onset rheumatoid arthritis (EORA) and polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) have similar clinical characteristics making them difficult to distinguish based on clinical features. We hypothesized that the study of serum metabolome could identify potential biomarkers of PMR vs. EORA.
