Abstract

Plexus injury results in lifelong suffering from flaccid paralysis, sensory loss, and intractable pain. For this clinical problem, regenerative medicine concepts set high expectations. However, it is largely unknown how dorsal root ganglia (DRG) are affected by accidental deafferentation.
