- For Pain Patients and Professionals
Neuropathic pain (NP) has a considerable impact on the global economic burden and seriously impairs patients’ quality of life. Currently there is no evidence-based “effective” treatment and new treatments are needed. Recently, platelet rich plasma (PRP) has emerged as an alternative treatment. Therefore, a systematic review has been conducted to present an evidence-based assessment of the use of PRP in the treatment of NP.
