Abstract

Bullous pemphigoid is the most common chronic recurrent autoimmune subepidermal blistering disorder most prevalent in geriatric population. It varies widely in clinical presentation ranging from tense bullae to intense generalized pruritus. It is immunologic in origin with the presence of IgG antibodies.
