A comparative retrospective and analytic study familial study was carried out in Poitiers University Hospital. The study of 13 members of a family, affected or not by tumor necrosis factor TNF-α receptor-associated periodic syndrome (TRAPS), including one patient with sacro-illitis was compared clinical features and inflammatory serum parameters, IgD and ex vivo cytokine production by PBMC. The work first described family characteristics, and then compared TRAPS and spondyloarthritis (SA) patients.
