Orbital complications of rhinosinusitis in adults are scarcely discussed in the literature. We defined atypical orbital complications as those without typical orbital invasion and not classified by the Chandler classification. These complications present as visual loss of diplopia without soft tissue swelling, pain, or computed tomography images of an orbital abscess.
