Effects of surgical treatment for classical trigeminal neuralgia with concomitant persistent facial pain.
Abstract
Classical trigeminal neuralgia with concomitant persistent facial pain responds poorly to conservative treatment. The authors describe the effects of microvascular decompression and radiofrequency thermocoagulation for patients with classical trigeminal neuralgia and concomitant persistent facial pain.
