IASP is accepting applications for the Developing Countries Project Initiative for Improving Pain Education. These grants help support improving pain education and practice in developing countries. The ideal applicant will present a multidisciplinary project and be a resident from a low-income and low-middle income country, as defined by the World Bank; selected grantees will receive grants up to $10,000 for projects lasting one year.
Applicants Must:
- Be a member of IASP for at least one year.
- Not received the same award in the last three years.
- Be based in a developing country.
Applications will be reviewed based on the evidence of the organizer’s ability to complete the project including the following criteria; if the project identifies and is relevant to local needs, if the curriculum is comprehensive and suited for the intended audience, and lastly that the program evaluation is planned and sufficient.
