This event offers three 90-minute session. Speakers will present masterclass in pain and management for frontline health care practitioners discussing how balancing pain and patient safety following musculoskeletal trauma and injury is possible when utilizing a multimodal approach that includes cognitive, physical, and pharmaceutical strategies.
Health Care Practitioners Will:
- Understand the critical role they can play in acute musculoskeletal pain management with patients increasingly turning to self-management.
- Realize the critical role they play in acute musculoskeletal pain management to minimize the progression to chronicity.
- Recognize the importance and value of adopting more patient-centric approaches in delivering better patient outcomes in patients with acute pain.
- Feel confident and equipped with the right communication skills and tools to provide more patient centric consultations that considers a more tailored and holistic understanding for first line intervention in MSK pain.
