and importance: Messenger RNA vaccines, commonly known as mRNA vaccines, are the first COVID-19 vaccines that have been authorized and licensed in the United States. Two mRNA vaccines, BNT162b2 (Pfizer-BioNTech) and mRNA-1273 (Moderna) are available. Mass vaccination remains the most critical way to halt the spread of the COVID pandemic. The most common adverse effects of the COVID vaccines are headache, muscular soreness, weariness, redness, swelling, and tenderness at the injection site. The dermatological adverse effects of mRNA vaccines, on the other hand, are little understood. We present a case of bullous fixed medication eruption following delivery of the second dose of Pfizer's Covid-19 vaccination.

Depression one of the world's prevalent mental illnesses is a leading cause of major public health problems globally and its frequency has been increasing, particularly in low and middle-income countries. Little is known about the magnitude and contributing factors of preoperative depression among elective surgical inpatients in the country and in the study area as well. The aim of the current study was to assess the magnitude and factors associated with preoperative depression among elective surgical inpatients.

Bipartite patella is a normal variation in ossification development. This variation is usually asymptomatic but can cause persistent and debilitating anterior knee pain with an injury. We report the case of a 56-year-old man complaining of persistent anterior left knee pain following trauma. Standard knee radiographs show a bilateral Bipartite Patella appearance, and magnetic resonance imaging shows discrete bony edema of the cancellous bone of the accessory bone and about the synchondrosis explaining the anterior knee pain, associated with a crack in the posterior compartment of the medial meniscus. Conservative care including medical treatment with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, physical therapy was used. Magnetic resonance imaging is the most valuable diagnostic tool for evaluating detailed morphologic and pathologic changes in patients with the bipartite patella.

Pneumatosis intestinalis is a rare condition with subserosal or submucosal gas-filled cysts of the gastrointestinal tract. It is often associated with acute mesenteric ischemia, but also non-ischemic causes are described.

Mucocele of the appendix (MA) is a rare disease characterized by chronic accumulation of mucin within an appendix. Although MA can be an asymptomatic finding, some patients with MA may present with right lower quadrant (RLQ) pain, pelvic pain, or even hernias. The later presentation is usually related to rupture of the mucin-filled appendix, a condition referred to as pseudomyxoma peritonei (PMP). Herein, we present a case of ruptured MA presenting as an irreducible paraumbilical hernia, where the patient presented with a lump to the surgical clinic. computed tomography (CT) of the abdomen revealed an RLQ lesion extending through the hernial neck. Further characterization of the lesion was performed with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), revealing an appendiceal origin of the lesion. The patient underwent an exploratory laparotomy during which an omental sample was taken. Histopathology confirmed the diagnosis of metastasizing low-grade appendiceal mucinous neoplasm. We believe that our case is unique due to the rarity of ruptured MA as well as the rarity of it presenting as a paraumbilical hernia.

The relationship of orthognathic surgery and temporomandibular disorders (TMD) has always been a topic of debate. The results have varied from mild/moderate improvement to actual worsening in some cases. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of orthognathic surgery on TMD in patients with dentofacial deformities.
