I am a neurologist by training, and a pain specialist and clinical researcher since 1990. I am Director for the Center of Evaluation and Treatment of Pain in Ambroise Paré Hospital (Boulogne-Billancourt, France). I am a member of the INSERM U 987 Research Unit on Pain (Ambroise Paré Hospital) directed by Didier Bouhassira and have published 128 peer review papers on pain. I was appointed Chevalier de la Légion d’honneur in October 2016 and received the biology prize of the Académie des Sciences in November 2017.
