Kayla is IASP’s Business Development Manager. She assists the Business Development department in the general support for sales and implementation of industry participation for the biennial World Congress of Pain, as well as the coordination and oversight of logistics for IASP partner-driven initiatives derived from grants and cross-collaborations with other organizations. She also assumes responsibility for the management and oversight of specific Congress-related business development and sales and grant-related business development projects.
In her previous role, she worked at MCI USA Association Solutions since 2019 as Senior Coordinator of Exhibits and Sponsorships. Kayla was responsible for maintaining partnerships for multiple clients, ensuring benefits were fulfilled for sponsors and exhibitors, researching potential sponsors, creating new prospectuses for all client conferences, and establishing event goals for multiple conferences. She also was the coordinator of the American Health Quality Association (AHQA), where she was the first point of contact for the organization’s members, maintained the membership database, assisted with registration for conferences, and coordinated multiple committees.
Kayla holds a bachelor’s degree in marine science. She graduated from Coastal Carolina University in 2013. She lives in Alexandria, Virginia, with her dog and cat, where she enjoys hiking, traveling, and exploring new restaurants.
