Professional Background
As a Professor, Nurse Clinician Scientist, and Nurse Practitioner in the SickKids Chronic Pain Program, I lead the iOUCH lab that focuses on Improving OUtcomes in Child Health using digital technologies (Apps) for children with painful chronic conditions. I am Co-Director of Pain Centre and oversee the Pain in Child Health Research Training (PICH) program at SickKids. I led the development of the Canadian Pediatric Chronic Pain Registry within the CIHR funded Chronic Pain Network and Pediatric Project ECHOTM (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) in Ontario. I co-led the pediatric and adult chronic pain research priority setting initiatives in Canada.
