Mission Statement:
The Association aims to promote and encourage research of particular social interest into the pathophysiological mechanisms of pain and pain syndromes and palliative care, all aimed at improving the living conditions of sufferers, from a social and healthcare perspective; to provide refresher courses, information, education, and professional training, and to provide ongoing education to both members and non-members, including annual training programs for Continuing Medical Education (CME).
