Mission Statement:
APED is the Portuguese national chapter of the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP). Our mission is to promote excellence in the understanding, prevention and management of pain, through scientific dissemination, specialized education, multidisciplinary clinical collaboration and evidence-based advocacy at national level, in accordance with the parameters established by the International Association for the Study of Pain, and the World Health Organization.evidence-based advocacy at national level.
