APED is the Portuguese national chapter of the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP). Its mission is to promote excellence in the understanding, prevention and management of pain, through scientific dissemination, specialized education, multidisciplinary clinical collaboration and evidence-based advocacy at national level.
