Indian Society for Study of Pain (ISSP) is a professional body representing, medical professionals working in the field of Pain Medicine. It’s a not-for-profit organization and exists for the benefit of its members in general and development of pain specialty in particular. The society was formed in 1984; it is committed for patient care, education, training and research in Pain Medicine.

Working together for pain relief throughout India. ISSP brings together scientists, clinicians, health-care providers, and policy makers to stimulate and support the study of pain and to translate that knowledge into improved pain relief across India.
