IASP Highlights Day in Mexico City
Dec 4, 2019
On 8 November 2019, IASP members gave a full day of talks at the FEDELAT Congress in Mexico City, Mexico. Topics ranged from chronic pain in children to training nurses in pain management to fibromyalgia and developing multidisciplinary pain clinics. Over 500 people from more than 20 disciplines attended the day of talks. The program provided high-quality scientific content and interactive sessions that raise awareness of advances in pain treatment and research and encourage exchanges among local, regional, and international experts and helped to form new collaborations and partnerships.
The IASP Highlights Day in Mexico City provided access to world-class research and the latest in pain management that is normally available only at the IASP World Congress on Pain. In addition, content was delivered in the local language which provided increased accessibility, credibility, and depth of learning for local pain experts.
This educational program has been developed by IASP and supported by an educational grant from TEVA.
