PRF Correspondents Program

Feb 13, 2019

Apply Today for the IASP Pain Research Forum Correspondents Program at NeuPSIG 2019!

Applications are now being accepted for the PRF Correspondents Program at the 7th International Congress on Neuropathic Pain (NeuPSIG), to take place May 9-11, 2019, in London, UK.

The PRF Correspondents program provide students and early-career pain investigators with the knowledge and skills they need to communicate science effectively to a wide range of pain researchers and to patients and the broader public. Working closely with the PRF editors, successful applicants will gain valuable science communications experience by conducting interviews and podcasts with NeuPSIG speakers, writing summaries of lectures and scientific sessions, and producing other content.

All content generated by program participants will be published on the Pain Research Forum and RELIEF, PRF’s companion site for the public. All participants will also receive an honorarium of $300 USD.

The PRF Correspondents program offers a unique opportunity for participants to develop their oral and written communications skills; to write for a wide range of pain researchers (PRF) and for patients and the wider public (RELIEF); to effectively revise and edit your work; and to disseminate knowledge of pain research to experts and non-experts alike.
