Membership

By joining a SIG, you will be asked to provide your name and email address, which may be shared with SIG leadership for SIG and IASP related communication. Your contact information is not shared with any third parties outside the SIG leadership and SIG members. This processing is conducted lawfully on the basis of article 6, section 1(a) – “your consent.”

Trainees must be undergraduate students, graduate students, or postdoctorate fellows in training interested in the mission of IASP, or students enrolled at least half-time at a degree-granting institution.

Early Career Professionals are regular IASP members within no more than 5 years after the end of trainee status.

Retired Member - A member must be fully retired and have been an IASP member for at least 10 years.

Enroll in Dues Auto-Renewal during the join or renew payment checkout process, and choose to have your annual membership dues automatically charged to the credit card of your choice. When you enroll in Dues Auto-Renewal, you may select to renew your annual membership and SIG memberships, or only the annual IASP membership.

Once you save your selections, you will return to the payment page where you will enter your credit card for your current dues payment. That payment information will be saved in a secure and encrypted file to be used for future payments.

A year later, approximately two weeks before your next dues payment is due, you will receive a notification with the date and amount of the payment. You have the option at any time to change the credit card being used for Dues Auto-Renewal payments on your IASP My Account page, and you may also choose to unenroll from the program at any time by contacting the IASP Membership Services Team.

Dues Auto-Renewal is only available as an annual process.

Members who have selected the option to pay for two years of membership may enroll and will initially be charged for two years (with the accompanying 10% discount), and then be charged annually at the standard rate when the two-year membership term has expired.

REQUIRED FOR WIRE TRANSFER
To activate your membership, if you are paying by wire transfer, it is required that you email the transfer receipt to members@iasp-pain.org. To ensure your payment is allocated properly and your membership is activated, please email the wire transfer receipt along with first name, last name, and IASP Membership ID.
