SPECIAL ISSUE OF PAIN REPORTS EXAMINES PAIN RELATED TO COVID-19 IN EUROPE, NORTH AMERICA, AND CHINA

WASHINGTON, DC – April 12, 2021 – The International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) has released a special issue of PAIN Reports that includes 11 peer-reviewed articles examining multiple aspects of pain related to COVID- 19. Reports from Europe, North America, and China describe region-specific experiences of the initial wave of the pandemic, including how the respective health care systems were impacted and how they rapidly evolved to meet the challenge of managing new pain while continuing to provide care for existing chronic pain patients.
