The Musculoskeletal Pain SIG Exchange Award is a proposed initiative designed to support and empower emerging researchers in the field of musculoskeletal pain. Early Career Researchers (ECRs) often encounter challenges in building their professional networks, gaining international exposure, and accessing valuable research resources. This award aims to provide financial support to ECRs, enabling them to develop collaborations or engage in musculoskeletal pain research in any aspect of basic or clinical science at a host institute. This opportunity will help them develop new skills, foster independent collaborations, and promote their professional growth.

Application Deadline: 31 July 2025

Goals:

  • To gain international experience and exposure by facilitating visits to other research institutions or universities worldwide.
  • To establish professional networks by connecting with experienced researchers and mentors.
  • To foster collaboration and knowledge sharing through financial support for exchange programs and research visits.

Eligibility:

  • The applicant must have been a financial member of the IASP and Musculoskeletal Pain SIG for at least 12 months at the time of application.
