Pain in Childhood Mission and Vision
The Pain in Childhood Special Interest Group aims to:
- Promote education about pain in children.
- Share relevant information about children’s pain control.
- Advance our ability to alleviate children’s pain from an international and interdisciplinary perspective.
- Encourage research, particularly multicenter studies and studies that focus on unique problems of pediatric patients, including newborns.
Pain in Childhood Events
The International Symposium on Pediatric Pain is the premier interdisciplinary conference on pain in infants, children, and adolescents. It attracts a global audience of pediatricians, anesthetists, clinicians, researchers, nurses, psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, as well as professionals and scholars from other disciplines.
