GAPPA has launched the My Letter to Pain initiative, a collection of written submissions, to highlight different individual experiences of pain, told from a lived perspective.
Each Letter to Pain submission is a written expression of each person’s experience, including stories, poems, letters, or other creative formats of no more than 1,000 words. These creative works can encompass a wide range of perspectives and vary as much as each individual’s unique experience with pain.
Submissions will be collected on a rolling basis and, if selected, published anonymously on the GAPPA website, GAPPA social media, and with the author’s permission presented at the World Congress on Pain.
Submit your Letter to Pain and help increase understanding and awareness of the lived pain experience.
