Lisa serves as the Manager of Education and has been with IASP since January 2022. She plays an integral role in managing all the IASP scientific meetings, including IASP World Congress, NeuPSIG 2023 International Congress, and International Symposium on Pediatric Pain 2023, CME Accreditation, the Education Program Working Group, as well as many other global programs and education initiatives.
In working with IASP education and events, Lisa has had the opportunity to coordinate with numerous scientific lecturers, plenary speakers, and presenters on pain-related research. Aligning with IASP’s mission of advancing pain knowledge around the world, Lisa also coordinates the advancement of enduring education that is provided through IASP webinars and international meetings.
Prior to her role at IASP, Lisa arrived with over a decade of experience working with public health organizations and foreign consulate’s health ministry. She played an important role in introducing the Envoy Program and Fellowship in Extreme Environmental Medicine (FEEM) for military physician students in the United States.
Lisa enjoys spending time with her son, going to farmer’s markets on the weekends, and watching her son compete in swimming and Tae Kwon Do.
