57th Annual Scientific Meeting of the British Pain Society

Nottingham, UK – 4-6 June

The British Pain Society (BPS) invites you to their 57th Annual Scientific Meeting 4- 6 June in the historic city of Nottingham, England.

The Scientific Programme of the Meeting always reflects the multidisciplinary nature of BPS, and this year is no exception. The format includes topical debates, lectures, workshops, and sessions which will stimulate further scientific and clinical discussion.

The BPS Annual Scientific Meeting will include new developments and research relevant to the pain community, as well as featuring discussions on challenging and controversial topics related to clinical practice and healthcare policies. This meeting provides professionals in the field of pain the opportunity to exchange ideas with leading researchers, experienced clinicians, and industry partners through a variety of networking possibilities.

Besides the excellent scientific programme, BPS hopes that you will have the opportunity to enjoy Nottingham’s vibrant culture and rich and historic past. From castles to caves, this green and open city boasts a wide selection of things to see and do. It is home to several high-level sporting teams and world-leading educational institutions, Nottingham has been the backdrop to many important innovations and inventions in pain medicine. It was in Nottingham that Sir Peter Mansfield made the breakthrough that led to the development of MRI scanning, and where Dr Stewart Adams OBE discovered ibuprofen.
