General Information - World Congress Terms and Conditions of Attendance

As a registered attendee of the 15th World Congress on Pain, you agree:

  • To assume full risk and responsibility for all bodily injury, including personal injury, death or damage to your personal property that may arise or be sustained during your participation in this event;
  • To waive and release the International Association for the Study of Pain, the 15th World Congress on Pain (collectively, "IASP") and their representatives, directors, officers, employees, agents, successors and assigns (collectively, "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, injuries, damages, actions, and causes of action, whatsoever, and from any and all liability for any loss of property or property damage, or personal injury of any kind, nature or description, including death, that may arise or be sustained during participation in the referenced event;
  • To hold the Released Parties free and harmless from any and all claims, demands, injuries, damages, actions, suits, or causes of action whatsoever arising out of or in any way connected with the participation in the 15th World Congress on Pain;
  • To grant IASP and partners permission to contact you for marketing and informational purposes;
  • To grant permission for IASP to use your likeness from portions of the Congress that are audio, digital, or video recorded, and/or photographed, for any and all of its publications and presentations, including website entries, without payment or any other consideration (no individual or entity may electronically record any portion of the World Congress on Pain without prior written consent);
  • To authorize IASP to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish or distribute recordings or photographs for purposes of publicizing IASP's programs or for any other lawful purpose;
  • To waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written or electronic copy, wherein your likeness appears;
  • That these materials will become the property of IASP.
