Congress Resources

IASP offers several resources for Congress delegates and those who wish to attend the Congress.

Continuing Education

IASP, in joint sponsorship the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower, will seek continuing medical education accreditation for the following Congress activities: Refresher Courses, Plenary Lectures, Bonica Distinguished Lecture, Loeser Distinguished Lecture, and Topical Workshops.

Congress-Related Awards

Six awards are presented to selected recipients for their contributions in the field of pain. The recipients of the two Distinguished Lecture Awards are selected by the IASP President. The IASP Award for Excellence, the Ronald Dubner Research Prize, and the Patrick D. Wall and Ulf Lindblom Young Investigator Awards are chosen from among member-nominated candidates.

Financial Aid

Part of the mission of IASP is to stimulate and support the study of pain and to translate that knowledge into improved pain relief worldwide. One of the ways that it does this is by providing financial aid to enable people with limited resources to attend the biennial World Congress on Pain.

Career Center

As a service to our members, IASP will offer academic institutions an opportunity to promote their job openings during the Congress. These opportunities will be announced before the Congress and a schedule will be posted on the Job Board at the Convention Centre. Please check back for more information as it becomes available.

Session Recordings

For the first time, IASP recorded every session presented during the 13th World Congress on Pain in Montréal. All Congress attendees received online access to the audio recordings free of charge, and anyone who missed the Congress can purchase recordings through the IASP Live Learning Center to see what they missed. Read more about the Live Learning Center.

We will again record presentations at the 14th World Congress on Pain. Watch the website for more information as it becomes available.

Event Photos

A professional photographer will be present for the entirety of the Congress to document lectures, workshops, award presentations, and related events. We will post select photos on our site, but all the pictures will be available to view online after the Congress.
