Accommodations

Your last chance to reserve hotel rooms at the exclusive IASP Congress rates is fast approaching and Congress hotels are filling up! Only a limited number of hotel rooms are available within the Congress room block at the special Congress rates. Reserve your accommodations via the World Congress on Pain registration website before July 2, 2012. Availability and rates cannot be guaranteed after this date.

All rates are in EURO (EUR) per room, per night, and include buffet breakfast and all taxes required. Rates are subject to change.

Official Congress Hotels

We encourage you to reserve official Congress accommodations and take advantage of special 14th World Congress on Pain rates during registration. You must reserve your hotel via the online Congress registration system to obtain these rates. The following hotels are currently available:

A small selection of hotels are no longer available at discounted Congress rates. If you have already made a reservation with one of these hotels through the Congress registration system, your booking will not be affected.

Individual Reservations

A first-night deposit payment is required to secure the hotel booking. Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis and are only confirmed upon receipt of the first-night deposit by MCI Suisse SA, the Official Housing Bureau. This prepaid deposit will be deducted from the final hotel invoice when checking out from the hotel. Potential additional incidentals, such as mini-bar and telephone, must be paid directly to the hotel upon check-out. Names of people sharing rooms must be indicated.

Group Housing

For groups of 10 people or more, a group housing contract is required. Group housing contracts are optional for groups smaller than 10. Please contact MCI Suisse SA, the Official Housing Bureau at iasp2012.hot@mci-group.com for more information. For groups of fewer than 10 people, individual reservations can be made directly online via the Congress group registration form.

Early Arrivals

Hotel check-in time is usually 15:00. If you arrive before this time, it is likely you will not be able to gain immediate access to your room. To guarantee a room for an early arrival, you will need to preregister and pay for the previous night.

Individual Accommodation Cancellation Policy

Any inquiries or requests for additional information, modifications or cancellations to room reservations should be addressed to MCI in writing (fax, post, or email). Please do not contact the hotel directly.

In the event of cancellation received before July 16, 2012, deposits will be refunded less €50 for administrative costs. After this date, no refund will be possible. In the event of late cancellations (after July 16, 2012), rooms cancelled, cancelled nights, or no-shows, MCI reserves the right to charge the full stay if the hotel room cannot be resold.

A handling fee of €45 per hotel room will be charged for every hotel modification received after July 16, 2012.
