Mission Statement

The SIG will advance the understanding of the inadequacy of pain education in a variety of disciplines across different countries and work to promote pain education strategies to address this issue.

SIG Objectives

The SIG on Pain Education aims to:

  • Promote pain education to health professionals, patients, communities & policy makers.
  • Provide a forum for educational support to those providing pain education including assessment, evaluation, and related research.
  • Promote the sharing of educational resources that colleagues have already developed/use.
