Mission Statement

The SIG on Pain and Movement aims to act as a multidisciplinary forum of communication in order to:

  • Improve the standard of care provided to patients with decreased physical function due to pain.
  • Improve the understanding and treatment of movement and function disorder due to pain.
  • Encourage scientific, clinical, and educational endeavors that could advance understanding of the mechanisms, relationships, rehabilitation, and prevention of decreased physical movement and function associated with pain.
