The International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) brings together scientists, clinicians, health care providers, and policy makers to stimulate and support the study of pain and to translate that knowledge into improved pain relief worldwide. Membership in IASP is multidisciplinary and open to all professionals involved in the research, diagnosis, and treatment of all types of pain including acute pain, chronic pain, and cancer pain.

IASP currently has more than 6,500 members from 123 countries and in 82 local chapters.

ImageBenefits of membership include a subscription to the journal PAINPain: Clinical Updates, and the quarterly IASP Newsletter, discounts on books from IASP Press, and eligibility for IASP grants and fellowships.
