Chapter News
The First Annual Meeting of the Mongolia Chapter
The Mongolian Center for the Study of Pain hosted their first annual
meeting in September of 2009. 73 doctors and nurses convened at the
NUKHT tourist camp in Ullaanbaatar, Mongolia, to discuss postoperative
pain management. Furthermore, the chapter decided to support their
continuing education initiative by creating a new training program, and
developing new standards. Additional goals for 2010 include inviting
speakers from other countries to discuss current topics, and
collaborating more with the Mongolian Ministry of Health. The chapter
also recruited 10 new members at their meeting!
